But those with a sweet tooth need to be more careful, since any preparations from this plant, no matter how attractive in appearance and taste they may be, can be absorbed only in very limited quantities. After all, hawthorn is a pretty strong remedy and you cannot get carried away with it.

And the variety of recipes for making hawthorn berries is really great. It can be whole berries with seeds, infused or boiled with sugar and mashed jams, confitures, jellies and jam.

Many healthy drinks are prepared from the fruits of this plant, ranging from juices to fruit drinks and kvass and even alcoholic tinctures.

The range of sweets made from this healthy berry is also varied: marshmallow, marmalade, candied fruit, candies.

For 1 kg of berries, you will need about 800 g of granulated sugar.

Preparation:

  1. Most of the pre-prepared sugar is ground into powdered sugar in a coffee grinder.
  2. The fruits are washed, freed from the tails and stalks and dried on a towel.
