Description of psilocybe czech

When damaged, the flesh of Psilocybe bohemica takes on a bluish tone

This species consists of a thin stem and a small cap. The flesh of the mushroom is cream or light ocher in color; if damaged, it becomes bluish. Astringent to taste.

Description of the hat

Grows on woody substrate

In young specimens, the cap is bell-shaped; over time, it changes its shape to an outstretched one, but with a small central bulge. Its size varies from 1.5 to 4 cm. The surface of the cap is bare, pale ocher or cream in color. When damaged, it starts to turn blue. The hymenophore is tubular, ocher in color. Spores are ovoid, smooth, and medium in size. Spore powder of gray-lilac color.

Leg description

With age, the leg of Psilocybe bohemica changes its creamy color to bluish

In young specimens, a creamy, dense stem gradually becomes tubular, slightly wavy with a bluish tinge. This species has a fibrous and thin stem. The thickness is about 2 mm and the length is 4-10 cm.

Where and how it grows

Psilocybe czech lives in European forests of coniferous or deciduous type, but it is quite common in other places with a temperate climate. Active fruiting occurs in September-October. Grows on rotten branches of coniferous and deciduous trees. In most cases it grows in groups.

Is the mushroom edible or not

Psilocybe czech is an inedible and poisonous specimen. Eating often results in severe hallucinations.

Effect of Czech psilocybe on the body

This poisonous mushroom contains a hallucinogenic substance called psilocybin, which causes a condition similar to attacks of schizophrenia. Already 30 minutes after consuming psilocyba, a Czech person can feel the first signs of a narcotic effect:

  • chills;
  • paranoia;
  • the appearance of tachycardia;
  • increased body temperature;
  • hallucinations;
  • distortion of space and time;
  • visual visions.
Important! The use of Czech psilocybe leads to unpredictable consequences. For some people, this product can cause laughter, for others - fear, panic. All this is accompanied by poor coordination of movement, fever. Regular use in food leads to a shattered nervous system as well as mental and physical deterioration.

Doubles and their differences

  1. Psilocybe is mysterious. Belongs to the category of poisonous mushrooms. You can distinguish it from the species under consideration by the more rigid body of the twin. In addition, the cap of the latter is yellowish-greenish, and the plates are frequent and descending to the stem.
  2. Psilocybe Montana- a small mushroom with strong hallucinogenic properties.The cap of this species reaches a diameter of up to 2.5 cm, and its shape is a hemisphere with a noticeable central tubercle, which makes it distinguishable from the Czech psilocybe.
  3. Psilocybe Cubenis - hallucinogenic mushroom. The fruiting bodies are much larger than the specimen in question. So, its cap can reach up to 8 cm in diameter, and the leg - up to 15 cm in height. In addition, it can be distinguished from Czech psilocybe by its almost transparent pulp and the remnants of a private bedspread, which turns black with age.

Conclusion

Despite its modest size, Czech psilocybe can cause tremendous harm to the physical, and especially the mental state of a person. Psilocin, which is part of it, is capable of causing psychological dependence, and at the same time has a negative effect on the body: with constant eating, brain cells atrophy, which leads to a degradation of intelligence.
